How do I download tiles from the app?

What are tiles?

Tiles are downloadable images available in the Push for Better app.

They’re designed to help you spread the word about The Push‑Up Challenge and share your journey on social media. Whether you’re celebrating progress, encouraging donations, or reminding others why you’re taking part, tiles make it easy to post something eye‑catching and on‑brand.

You can download tiles directly from the app and share them on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or wherever you like to connect with your community.

We’ve included an example tile below so you can see what they look like:

If you’re having trouble downloading tiles from the Push for Better app, it’s usually because the app doesn’t yet have permission to save files on your phone. The good news? This is quick to fix.

To change the permissions on your phone:

  • On iPhone

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Scroll down and tap Push for Better
    3. Turn on Allow access to Photos

    On Android

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap Apps
    3. Select Push for Better
    4. Tap Permissions
    5. Choose Files and media
    6. Make sure Allow access to media is switched on
If you’re unsure where to find permissions on your phone (they can differ between devices), the simplest fix is often to:
  1. Uninstall the Push for Better app
  2. Reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play
  3. When prompted, allow permissions for photos or media
This usually resolves the issue and allows tiles to download successfully.
