When will donations close?
Donations don’t close immediately when the Challenge ends, there’s a little extra time to wrap things up.
Typically, online donations close around 2–3 weeks after the event finishes. We’ll keep you posted with the exact date so you know how long you have to fundraise.
Offline donations (such as workplace matching donations) usually remain open slightly longer, as these can take extra time to process.
Why do donations close?
Closing donations allows us to:
- Finalise fundraising totals for the year
- Ensure your hard‑earned donations are processed correctly
- Distribute funds to your chosen beneficiary as efficiently as possible
Like all good things, fundraising does need to come to an end but rest assured, we’ll give you plenty of notice before it does.
