Does it have to be push-ups or can I do alternatives?
You can complete whatever exercise your heart desires!
We encourage you to try alternative exercises if you need a break from push-ups, or if push-ups just aren't for you. You can substitute with sit-ups, squats or another tailored exercise that works for you.
You may also like to try different variations of push-ups throughout the challenge to mix it up! Standard, on your knees, wall push-ups or even one-handed push-ups are all welcome.
But how do I count alternative exercises?
That is up to you, as each person is different! For example, some people do like-for-like swaps so 1 squat = 1 push-up, and others count every 10 steps = 1 push-up, or a 1-minute walk equivalent to 1 push-up.
We let you be the judge and when you decide what works better for you, bank your exercises/reps as push-ups.
