How fit do I need to be to take part?
We have seen people with all sorts of fitness levels take part.
We’ve seen people with all kinds of fitness levels take part in The Push‑Up Challenge. If you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, it’s always a good idea to have a chat with your health professional first. As a general guide, being able to complete around 10 push‑ups in one go (without stopping) is a solid place to start.
If that feels out of reach right now, a little pre‑season training can help build confidence and strength. And remember — push‑ups aren’t your only option. You can substitute with alternative exercises such as sit‑ups, squats, or other movements that suit your body and abilities.
To help you pace yourself, the challenge also includes built‑in rest days every Sunday, giving your body time to recharge for the week ahead.
We also award achievement badges when you reach 25%, 50% and 75% of your daily target. If that feels more achievable, you might like to aim for one of these badges each day - every effort counts.
