What mental health services are available in the United Kingdom

If you or someone you know are struggling with poor mental health or suicidal thoughts, there is always help available.

If you or someone you know is feeling depressed or having thoughts of ending their life, this can feel frightening, confusing and isolating. It’s really important that you speak to someone about what’s going on and how you feel.

Urgent Support

If you need to speak to someone urgently:  

In addition to contacting a support line, it’s also important to reach out to a friend or family member, if possible, to let them know you are feeling suicidal or need help. 

If you’re in an emergency situation or need immediate assistance for yourself or someone else, call emergency services on 999 or go to your local emergency department, you are not alone.
